12 Versatile Ideas of the FullFocus Planner

Does FullFocus Planner fit my style?

How much flexibility is there?

Any Journal / Planner has some level of flexibility. But how much?

In this context, I share my personalization of the FullFocus planner in the context of the system, decorations, and personal touch.

My primary focus in using the planner is to achieve the goal by increasing productivity.

However, I still enjoy using Washi tape, colored pens, and stickers and all. Simply because that keeps my motivation.

Let me share my experience and 12 feedback.

My Personalization

1. Adding an annual calendar

I need to view the annual calendar.
and I force myself to view it every day.
So that I can feel the time flow and make me feel the urgency.

I use the back of the front cover page.

2. Adding FW # everywhere

I add the Fiscal Week number anywhere in the journal.

1 year is 53 weeks in total.
Seeing FW 1, FW2, FW 30, and so forth.,,,, makes me feel the time passage more realistic.

3. Adding weekly habit tracker

1 of my goals is to create a Weekly Habit. – exercise a minimum of 4 times per week.

I added a Weekly tracker with the FW number underneath the STREAKTRACKER.

It gets more visible and easily tracks my weekly habit progress.

4. Monthly review and plan on Note section

FullFocus Planner covers Quarterly Plan/Review, Weekly, and Daily.

I need a Monthly Review/Plan so that I can adjust my goal for the upcoming month.

As there is no dedicated template available, I use the Note section at the end for the Monthly Plan/Review.

5. Marking key pages with Washi Tape

My Work Start Ritual includes quickly checking the big picture and small picture.

so I view several pages in the order of

  1. Annual calendar page (to check how much has been done this year)
  2. Quarterly Goal page (to remind myself what needs to be achieved)
  3. Monthly Review/Plan (to check my progress)
  4. Weekly Preview/Plan (to confirm the goal of this week and the progress)
  5. Daily page (to confirm today’s plan)

The issue is we do not have 5 ribbons πŸ™‚

I use ribbons for 4. and 5. (I frequently use these 2 pages during the day)

so I put Washi-tape for 2. and 3.

for 1 ? that is the very first page, so I don’t need to look for the page πŸ˜‰

6. The daily Note page is for the focus tracker, daily review, and any type of memo

As 1 complete page is free every day, I use it for any purpose. I believe that many people do similarly.

When I want to check my focus level, I log my focus levels.
I put a reference here I wrote some blogs about focus in the past.

Definitely, I use some parts of the Note section for Daily Review to reflect what went well as well as what did not go well and possible improvements.

7. Timetable for time estimation tracker

I put how I used the time in the timetable.

because just creating priority task lists does not put me forward.
I need a more realistic plan to convince my brain.

So what I wrote down is
The left side is the Plan, and the right side is the actual record.

I use this information to assess my time estimation ability.

8. Monthly Calender is a daily record & reward system

For scheduling, I use a digital calendar.

Therefore, on the paper planner, I use a Monthly Calender as a daily record and reward system. I use colors and stickers πŸ™‚

I record sleeping hours, quick key health information, weather, and such.

9. Back of the cover to collect my cat’s whiskers

I know I’m weird.

Whenever I find the fallen off my cat’s whiskers, I like to collect them into the back of the planner cover.
My sweet cat’s evidence of living!

10. Spray my favorite perfume

I use “smell” for various anchors in my life.

All 4 Rituals include some kind of “smell” such as using my favorite smell hand cream, adding today’s au de colon, and wearing a pendant with a small bottle of Eau De Toilette. etcetera…

btw, Eau De Toilette is lighter than Perfume, so I can use it more frequently.

I spray Perfume to the Goal Details page that I check every day.
(When I use Perfume, I spray about once a month πŸ™‚ )

Whenever I open and view my Goal Page, the delicate fragrance of my cherished perfume envelops meβ€”a blissful moment !”:)

11. The back pocket is the collection of stickers

I have loved to collect stickers since I was a kid.
I keep the ones I frequently use in the back pocket.

12. Water coloring isn’t working well

I like water coloring, but it did not work well.

I thought the front page might suffice, but as soon as water was added, the paper got bumpy.

So only a coloring pencil is recommended if you want to paint πŸ™‚

Summary

  • Every day we have a full 1 blank page on the right side. This makes the planner flexible.
  • The Notes section (12 pages) in the back also provides some level of flexibility. To me, 12 pages are enough to cover the monthly review and Plan for 3 months.
  • There is not the same flexibility level as Bullet Journal, but plenty of blank pages provide various ways of utilizing and adjusting my style.
