The Daily Planner by Passion Planner Review : Flexible format planner

PassionPlannerDailyPlanner_Front

Within Undated, 90-days duration, and “Daily” Planners, the Daily Planner (by Passion Planner) has provided the unique approach to support flexible format availability to adjust to your preference.

Note that I classified it as one of my Best Daily Planners for Business Professionals.

However, any planner has pros and cons. This Daily Planner is missing the Weekly Plan & Review concept by default, and got the lowest score in the “Productivity” category.

In this Daily Planner (by Passion Planner) review,
you will see its unique features, pros and cons,
and why I think it is a flexible format planner based on my test.
Such that you will finger out if this planner is the right one for you.

Note: Among 3 different sizes available for Daily Planner, this review is based on the A4 size.

Exterior

The Daily Planner provides multiple options for exteriors from basic black to embolized colorful colors. Additionally, you can select the preferred size from the 3 different sizes – A4, B5, and pocket.

From the accessory perspective, this planner covers all (1 bookmark ribbons, back pocket, elastic band) except for the pen holder loop.

Productivity

This planner focuses on Monthly and Daily activity.
The Weekly Plan and Review is available only from Free Printable from their website.

Monthly Plan & Review

This planner provides 4 monthly calendars, and each month is associated with

1. Monthly Plan (called “THIS MONTH’S GAME CHANGER GOAL”)
2. Monthly Plan (Monthly Calendar with Prompts)
3. Monthly Review (called “SELF CHECK-IN”)
4. Monthly Review (called “MONTHLY REFLECTION”) – through Free Printable

Let’s review 1 by 1.

1 . THIS MONTH’S GAME CHANGER GOAL

GameChangerGoal_MonthlyPlan_PassionPlanner.

It has a dedicated page where it comes with helpful prompts. While many planners provide simply 3 goals of the Monthly Planning, this planner provides multiple great prompts to organize my thoughts for the upcoming month.

Starting with “DEFINE” the goal, “BRAINSTORM” tasks, make it “MEASURABLE” and “PRIORITIZE”, “INCORPORATE”, “COMMIT” the time, define “WHY” and “VISUALIZE” the achievement.

Following these prompts from the top to down will lead you to set a well-thought monthly goal.

2 . Monthly Calendar with Prompts

MonthlyCalender_MonthlyPlan_PassionPlanner

As you see in the picture, alongside the monthly calendar, the remaining space will suggest you to consider personal projects, work projects, relationships, and self-grow.

3 . SELF CHECK-IN

SelfCheckin_MonthlyReview_PassionPlanner

This also has a dedicated page where you have plenty of space to view your last month with 4 prompts:

  • WHAT’S ON YOUR MIND?
  • MEMORABLE MOMENTS
  • ACCOMPLISHMENTS I’M PROUD OF
  • HOW I’VE GROWN BIGGEST LESSENS

The one I liked the most is “WHAT’S ON YOUR MIND?” section at the top. Every time I start to review the last month, there is some analytical data that I want to quickly review.

For instance, I briefly log my hourly usage every day, esp. key projects. So at the end of the month, I want to quickly check how much time I spent on those projects. I quickly jot down the total hours, where it took time, where it did not take time, and why and how I can improve… just writing down provides me good insight.

Therefore, dumping all out into the paper helps me to look back at myself subjectively and retrospectively.

4 . MONTHLY REFLECTION (Available from Free Printable Format)

MonthlyReflection_MonthlyReview_PassionPlanner

This is the unique approach of this planner. If the proper format or layout is not available in the planner, you can download from their website for free.

Monthly Reflection is 1 of them that you can download & print it out.

Some prompts are similar to the ones provided within the planner, but some are unique to this paper, such as
“How are you different between this past month and the month before it?”. – pretty good prompt !

Daily Plan & Review

DailyPlan_DailyReview_PassionPlanner

The Daily page comes with 2 spread pages, as you can see in the picture above.

For Planning,

  • Today’s’ Focus
  • GameChanger Goal
  • Personal to-dos
  • Work To-dos

  • Self-maintenance

For Review

  • Best things that happened

Firstly, the timetable covers 5:00 to 11:00, which is great. That is useful for the people who are in the global business with strange time meetings.

Additionally, the right page is an entire free space that I can jot down anything while execution of the day. Therefore, no separate note is required.
